SDMB FF Dynasty League: Year Two

Yeah, I suppose so - unless there’s another fantasy site out there that has best-ball type leagues. I know some of the fantasy pundits talk about their leagues, but I’m not sure if they’re manually managed or what.

Atcually, easiest would be to just have everyone start, so maybe have all flex spots with no bench.

Remember that these numbers are weekly averages through the current week. Thanks to SenorBeef for helping me switch over from fantasy team names to SDMB usernames.

Raised my average by 4% from Week 1 to Week 2. :smack:

Is average the way to go? That’s definitely interesting, but I’m always curious to see who made the biggest boneheaded decisions on a week to week basis, maybe posting average once every few weeks. I don’t want to significantly increase your workload though since it’s awesome you’re doing it at all. Let me fiddle around and see how hard it would be to display weekly and average both.

I’m too WR heavy. Any of my WRs are up for grab for an equivelant RB.

I’ve got Johnny Knox, Eddie Royal, Randy Moss, Josh Cribbs, Demaryius Thomas, Davone Bess, Julian Edelman, Braylon Edwards, Ted Ginn Jr, Mohammed Massaquoi, Louis Murphy, and Mike Williams (SEA).

Who would you define as an equivalent running back to Moss?

Haven’t given it too much thought. I’m open to offers.

That’s a fantastic idea. There are several reasons I always assumed only one set of numbers would work, and given only one set of numbers, weekly average was the clear winner. But seeing the finished product it’s clear that two full tables will fit just fine.

I’m all over that like white on rice. Will email you an update when I get it all set. (Will also update all four threads with new week 2 data.)

New version now shows current week and season averages separately.

I may run into the position of not having enough startable RBs to fill up my two RB slots. 25 man roster, and I can’t put two starters in there.

Matthews is out, Harrison is probably out, and Leon Washington and Steve Slaton aren’t worth starting. This is just silly.

I’ll start looking at rosters later and proposing some trades. But is it possible to have trades fast-tracked? If I work out a trade on Saturday it won’t be available for gameday unless commish approval of trades is turned on and approved. That’s how I do it in the other leagues.

How desperate are you?

Not very - I’m not gonna give up huge value for the future to win one game this weekend. I’m willing to take the worst of a trade, but not by a huge margin.

Every fucking week DeSean Jackson has to rub it in my face that I didn’t pick him up.

WOOT! Leon Washington return TD saves my RB spot from being vacant.

If it makes you feel any better, he didn’t have any return yards today.

Need Mason Crosby to outscore Ricky Williams by 3.01 points to pick up my second win. Doable, especially considering Ricky is going against the Jets and Crosby gets a probable shootout in Chicago.

I’ve been playing fantasy football for over 15 years now, and no league I’ve ever been in has been as incredibly frustrating as this one. It’s like fucking Groundhog day, where every week, I get fucked, either by injury or more likely by putting up some really nice points, only to lose to a team scores its high week of the year against me. It so damn … tedious.

It’s almost like the Fantasy Football gods are evening things up since you were handed Adrian Peterson and Brandon Marshall on silver platters with watercress around them by some idiot.

But you’re MY idiot.

: playful slug on the shoulder:

Well, in fairness to me, I figured Brandon Marshall was the most likely of my wideouts by far to be suspended. Or hold out.
