SDMB FF Dynasty League: Year Two

No, but neither was Torain. Didn’t matter because both Jackson and Armstrong scored more than 8 each.

There was some sort of correction that gave Michael Vick 1 more point, which, barring any further correction, makes Stringer the winner.

Any idea what they changed?

Sucks for me, since whoever doesn’t win the division between Stringer and Hamlet is my primary competition for the wild card spot, so I want them both to fail spectacularly. This would put Stringer 2 games ahead, which means most likely that Hamlet and I are battling for the wild card… I guess that makes this week’s victory over him pretty important.

Every few weeks I’m going to post our scores in descending order to show what the standings would be if we were playing a points-only league instead of head to head.

Vick!!! Best trade ever.

3 games out of the wild card with 4 left to play. Still mathematically alive, though I’d need SB to lose two games in addition to the drubbing I’m going to give him in two weeks.

Holy shit, I just realized I lost this week! I read the thread this morning, too, and saw that Stringer had a big come-from-behind win because of Vick; I just didn’t make the connection. Didn’t even realize I was fading Vick last night.

142.75-142.14. Jesus power-barfing Christ.

I would gloat but it was the luckiest Monday night comeback ever.

I think I deserve another RB for that save, don’t you? It’s only fair. :stuck_out_tongue:

You can have Favre’s corpse back if you want.

Hey furt, I made you an offer.

Well Randy Moss is useless. I should’ve started James Fucking Jones.

Greg Jennings single handedly raping me.

I am praying I don’t run into a Dwayne Bowe 2 TD/Steve Johnson 3 TD week when I play Isotopes for the title.

Hah. I put up 125 points this week, and I am going to lose going away.

Come on long McCoy TD run!

Wow, that puts me to within 4, but I don’t know if McCoy will get another carry.

FUCKING RANDY MOSS

McCoy! Now I have a .15 point lead. NO SCORING CORRECTIONS PLEASE SIRS.

Let’s start talking playoffs.

We’ve got 3 games in the regular season. I’m counting this week as finished because it doesn’t look like any outcomes are likely to change with the MNF game.

We do HGH is clearly going to win Midwest division.

Isotopes has a 1 game lead in the Sunbelt division. His score crushes mine, but the divisional tiebreaker is actually division record, and I currently lead him 3-0 vs 2-1. Him and I both have 3 division games to finish out the schedule - I think Varlos designed it that way, it’s definitely a cool schedule. We play each other in the last week of the season, which could very well be the matchup that determines the division. His team is way better than mine, but any given week…

Ellis Dee is a solid favorite to win the Northeast Corridor, having a game lead on Furt and 2 games on Varlos, along with a 3-0 division record. But they also all play each other at the end of the season, which means either can work themselves back into the race.

If I don’t win my division, at 8 wins and 1260 points I’ll have a strong shot at the wildcard. The next closest wildcard contenders are Furt at 6-5 (1185 points), Hamlet at 5-6 (1285), Varlos (1147) and Omni (1100).

Furt would have to win out and have me lose out to take it, or win 3 and have me lose 2 and have him make up the score gap. The 5 win teams have to win out, have me lose out, and make up the point gap - although Hamlet has me beat by 15 points in score currently.

If I somehow win the division from Isotopes, he’s in as the wildcard.

I’m not sure I deserve to be in the playoffs, but then again I’m not sure anyone in the Northeast Corridor division does either, I’ve outscored all of them. Actually, yeah, I guess I do deserve a spot - I’m 4th in points, and Hamlet is only 15 points ahead of me. Hamlet is the most likely guy to score in the top 4 but miss the playoffs.

Does unused FAAB money carry over to next year?
