Except that you wouldn’t have been able to post until the board goes free. I’m not sure if you can cancel your membership, but you should ask TubaDiva.

I do not think that policy has changed, Ed has said nothing about it to us.

We really don’t do that. If you want to stop posting, stop posting - but you realize you can’t just join again and post for free, right?
I realise that, no bother I just want the temptation of posting again removed.
If you ask Tuba nicely, she might put you on a posting sabbatical. No posting ability but access to the search engine and stuff.
So you’ve paid your $15, but now that you know the board is going free-to-post, don’t actually want to be “tempted” to post and not posting is “no great loss?” Why’d you pony up the money in the first place?

You do have a year without seeing display ads – if you want to see what you’re missing sign out of the board and come back and look at all the ads.
And you can post now whenever you like, you don’t have to wait for the free posting to start, instant gratification.
Hopefully the free posting will start soon – it’s not soon enough for some folks and we get that, we do. (No, I do not know when it will start, I don’t know anything more than what I’ve said already, sorry.)
