So besides Jeopardy, what other game shows have Dopers been on?
It doesn’t even have to be an intellectually challenging game show, either. Newlywed Game? The Price is Right? Family Feud? Even Double Dare!
I’m sure at least one of us was on Win Ben Stein’s Money, and I’m willing to be there’s been a handful on Who Wants to be a Millionaire.
Myself, I’ve never been on one, but if I ever am, I’ll let you guys know.
About 20 years ago my mom and I tried out for Wheel of Fortune. Both of us made it to the top 20 (of about 200) but weren’t picked for the show. I guess we weren’t “bubbly” enough or sumpin’. Their loss…
My brush with fame!
I tried out for The Weakest Link a few years back. I didn’t get on the show, but someoen else in my test group did. (Is it wrong of me to be glad that he was eliminated in the first round? Conicidentally, he’s the one I voted out of my test group too.)
I also submitted my application for The Amazing Race this year, but my friend and I didn’t fit the prerequisite “gay couple”, “old couple”, “black couple”, “wacky couple”, or any of the other “couples” that they normally choose.
Aw come on, I know there’s more of you guys out there! Don’t be embarrased!
