I had an extra low bar installed for tonight and Trump still can’t clear it.
Trump has actually been OK so far; calmer than usual, and hitting his talking points with unusual discipline. Hillary obviously is far more coherent and well-informed about policy but from the perspective of a regular voter this may be a draw so far.
Why is calling it radical Islamic terrorism so important?? I don’t get it. Obama just doesn’t want to tarnish an entire religion because of a radical few.

I don’t think Donald is doing as poorly as some of you are saying. In fact, I think he is doing much better than his performance in the first debate …so far.

The phrase doesn’t tarnish the religion. What it does is tarnish an extremist version of it which unfortunately is the basis for governing in many nations which are supposedly our allies. That’s the real reason. There is virtually no daylight between the Saudi royal family and ISIS except on one issue: the Sauds like Western money and military support.
He said “she literally won’t say the words radical Islamic terrorism”, I don’t understand why she wouldn’t immediately speak those words and make him look stupid. “Radical Islamic terrorism is definitely a threat in the world today, but we can’t allow that to force us to mistreat Muslims who are good citizens” blah blah. She could’ve made him look like an idiot and used it as a jumping off point into her next statement. But instead it made him look correct, like she literally wouldn’t use the words radical Islamic terrorism. I don’t understand why she played it like that.
Hillary mentions the little boy in Allepo sitting in the ambulance in response to Trump’s Extreeeeeeeeem Vetting and keeping them all out.
Did someone advise him to walk around behind Hillary to unnerve her?
