And yes, let’s get a vote on Nanook toDay. I’m not sure what his deal is, but it doesn’t read as scummy to me. PFK, perhaps, but I think we can deal with him another day.
Here you go mischaracterizing another’s post again. I didn’t say anyone was a Townie. I used the terms “Townie reactions” and “Townie bewilderment”. That is, their specific behaviors were what I’d expect from a Townie. That’s not the same thing as saying they are Townies. I think that distinction should be fairly obvious.
However, if it’s to be a “second lynch”, then it should be done via majority. I think we should all state our opinions on whether NBC should be sentenced to die today via his drawback, and vote in, say, yellow. If a majority says aye, then we test him. If there is no majority toDay, then we take another vote toMorrow. Does that seem like a reasonable plan?
Why the complication? If Nanook is telling the truth, it requires a unanimous decision to kill him. We’d all have to refuse to vote for him. No need for an extra voting process.
I’m happy to not vote for Nanook. I’ll consider votes for him mildly suspicious.
And now that I think about, the plan for a second vote count is a distraction. JSexton’s gambit was, as he claimed, to focus attention and generate discussion. Why the switch to a voting process we don’t need? Maybe because that discussion has turned against JS rather than his target(s).
Give Nanook a vote.
Anyone else notice something funny?

I don’t think I’d OMGUS someone who misrepresented me as mildly as JSexton did, no. Hell, my performance in this game is my cite–despite my perception of being misrepresented I haven’t taken anyone to task for it because that crap happens.
While we need to avoid jumping at simple misunderstandings, JSexton’s statements about Hal was egregious enough that it caught my attention. He changed Hal’s intent from a careful consideration of possibilities to one of advocating railroading. Not mild. Townies should be complaining about that sort of thing. Scum will very often manipulate perceptions by misrepresenting others. The truth is all we have; don’t let scum obscure it.

Anyone else notice something funny?
Not again…
JSexton’s already tried this silly little tactic. If you’ve got something to say, say it.
Unvote… whoever the hell my vote is getting re-directed to.
Who’s got the power of Diebold?!
blink

Unvote… whoever the hell my vote is getting re-directed to.
Who’s got the power of Diebold?!
Oooh… sexy new turn of events.
It could just be that Og confused the two ‘Z’ players.
Oh, Bountiful and Gracious Og, through whom all bacon is possible, may we have another votecount?
Both “Z” players, I’m guessing thats a hiccup in the vote count, rather than a power.
But I’m guessing.

Unvote… whoever the hell my vote is getting re-directed to.
Who’s got the power of Diebold?!
I like fun - I like funny… but don’t take it too far - care to elaborate?
Give Nanook a vote.
On an unrelated topic, a question for JSexton:
However, it’s my experience that the vast majority of scum have things to do at night. Even if there’s one totally vanilla scum, that’s generally the one sent to do the kill.
On what basis are you concluding that a) totally vanilla scum in this game are the exception rather than the rule; b) this game has a setup where a particular scum gets sent to do the kill?

I like fun - I like funny… but don’t take it too far - care to elaborate?
He voted for Zsofia. His vote is currently on Zeriel. (or vice versa… I’m too lazy to check the last page)

b) this game has a setup where a particular scum gets sent to do the kill?
It follows, if Peeks “Watcher” role is true to form.

b) this game has a setup where a particular scum gets sent to do the kill?
It seems likely, with a ‘Watcher’ role in the game.

He voted for Zsofia. His vote is currently on Zeriel. (or vice versa… I’m too lazy to check the last page)
Thanks - that was a fun way to reprimand Og - I like fun
I take my disenfranchisement seriously.

It seems likely, with a ‘Watcher’ role in the game.

Damnit!
Wait until tonight. I’ll finally reopen the bar. I need to check Night Zero, I think I owe someone a drink from then, too.
The FSM would like to say that his spreadsheet was in fact correct, but is unable to do so. Somehow, H7G’s vote for Zeriel was correctly recorded in the “votes placed” column, but not the “voted for” column used to compile the votecount.
How this happened, the FSM declines to speculate.
A reprise of the votecount :JSexton : 6 (BS PI, Zsofia, Rapier42, Hal Briston, Pleonast, Pedescribe)
Zeriel : 4 (Kat, amrussell, JSexton, Hero from Sector 7G)
Hal Briston : 3 (Oredigger77, ShadowFacts, Zeriel)
Blaster Master : 2 (ok11, Fretful Porpentine)
Zsofia : 1 (Total Lost)H7G’s vote has been placed where he originally specified. If he wishes to change it, normal procedures apply.
