Chilean sea bass, hot off the barbecue and ready for the appropriate accompaniments to be added. This is a fish that is famously rich and buttery, which I think comes through in the picture. Also known by the less attractive name of Patagonian toothfish, it’s relatively scarce and expensive, but well worth it!

Except for a brief title, the pics are supposed to speak for themselves.

You’re right, and my apologies. My long-winded ramble belonged here. I just felt obliged to identify what this food item was, and then got carried away!
