I took a picture of the cats curled up on the end of the sofa today, but I’m not going to submit it yet in case I find something better. But yeah I expect a plethora of pet photos this month.

I just posted my entry. It is from the Tarsier Preserve in the Philippines.
The Tarsiers are small, about the size of an adult man’s fist, and are nocturnal so during the day they hide in the shade of large leaves. I had to zoom in with my phone so that’s why the photo is a little grainy.
Tarsiers only live in a few countries in Southeast Asia.

Right now, I’m at “This one is first, that one is second, and that one is third, no wait, that one, no, that one is adorable, gotta be it, no wait…”
I’ve already seen at least half a dozen I’d pick and we’re only halfway through the month.
I think I’m going to be shut out this month; I can’t find a single snuggly photo in my archives, and snuggles must be captured in the moment, they are not easily manufactured.

Same. I don’t have a pet or other loved one that would fit this category, even stretched to its broadest definition. Oh well, maybe next month.
I do have a pair of recently-acquired goldfish, but I have yet to catch them snuggling.

One other thing I learned about Tarsiers there: since they’re nocturnal their eyes are big compared to their body size, and their eyes do not turn at all. They have to move their heads since they cannot move their eyes.
This is me with my son and brother at the sanctuary. A nice place to visit and learn, but you have to be very quiet there.
Anyway, with those big eyes they are cute little buggers.
Same same. I have lots of great, even touching, photos of snuggling, but all involve people (and no, not THAT kind of snuggling).
Fourthed, fifthed, whatever it is. I love animals, grew up with cats and dogs, but in my marriage, I respect my wife’s difference of opinion, so I have nothing to take pictures of. I mean, I do have snuggle pix, but I’m not going to publicly post images of my kids being cute with each other.
I do have an interesting picture of a stray cat in Turkey which is worth sharing for other reasons; I’m weighing popping it into the thread to support the “fun animal” concept. Not especially snuggly, though, and it won’t be worth anyone’s vote.
Which is not to say I think the theme was a bad choice. I enjoy the cute pictures. Just not something I can participate in.
I have to click the link to see the entry from @Fear_Itself . Is this true for anyone else? Not having the picture display in the thread puts it at a disadvantage.
Have you tried putting on some Barry White?
I’ve never used ImgBB before. Too many steps, I guess.
And drop a few drops of white wine into the fish tank?

I was going to use this picture, but the expressions on their faces make clear this is not actual snuggling. They’re pushing and shoving to lay their eggs in the favored spot (an old tire).
