And yeah, @Dung_Beetle , chickens are nasty, ornery beasts. They’d probably present real challenges to farmers, if they weren’t also so stupid.
The step-cats have been unusually cooperative this month. I had a hard time picking which photo to post, but went with the one with Zeke sleeping on his back, paws up while his brother Ziggy curls up next to him. Zeke frequently sleeps in weird positions, which just cracks me up. (Some folks may notice the shaved spot on Ziggy’s back leg, which was from a recent trip to the vet.)
OMG that fluffy belly just cries out for a good rub! Or is it a trap?
