i’ve actually played the game. badly. i found it overly long and irritating. at least irl. perhaps playing over the net will moderate those factors.
so, count me in for either the second group or the next game, whichever happens first. i’m going to be gone this weekend, though, so it’s probably not the ideal time to start.
This sounds interesting. I might be interested in the next game, if you have another and can put up with another complete neophyte.
If you organize a newbie game, I’ll do it.

Being a rank newbie isn’t as much of a disadvantage in this game as you may think. Especially if an experienced backstabb…er, diplomat, on your side. Unfortunately, I’m just slightly less new than anyone else.
Just be sneaky, ally early, lie convincingly, and listen to everything I tell you 
I do want to point out that I’m on the west coast here, and I rarely wake up before noon. So Maeg, if you sen me an email, be prepared to wait a bit before you get a return.
Just as a quick warning to newbies:
You will be lied to. You will be betrayed. You will be manipulated. Don’t take it personally. If your bestest friend in the whole wide world lies to your (virtual) face, it’s because that’s the point of the game.
The reason I say this is that I introduced this game to a friend, who then became very very upset when she was backstabbed later in the game.
If you keep that in mind, then you’ll probably have an incredible time. Just don’t take anything personally.
(Oh, and I’m not lying … yet.)
Ok, it definitely looks like there will be a second game. Since I am in no mood to do any work before a long weekend, I will probably have the webpage set up today or tomorrow. There will definitely be a second game. I’d be happy to run both of them. It would be great, of course, if we could coordinate deadlines.
