The thread titled ‘How come we always kill more of them than they of us?’ (or thereabouts) took me to a site with ‘Hardcore european, Japanese’ movies for sale.
I won’t post the link because that’s not allowed, but I KNOW I’ve never been to that site so it’s not Explorer being daft or a history glitch.
You might have some variety of browser-hijacking scumware. Try running Adaware and Spybot, after making sure each is fully updated. I tried the thread you idicate, and it worked normally for me.
While that’s a possibility QED, the board was down for about 20 minutes around the time of the OP. It may have been somebody hacking the SMDB, and I would like to hear if that’s the case.
I got the “Database Error” page sporadically, however when the board was working, it behaved normally. I’m not discounting the hacking theory, but everything worked fine for me, otherwise. In any case, running some anitspyware software can’t hurt.
I’m running adaware 6.181, pc-cillin and zonealarm - adaware is about half way into its scan and has picked up 26 tracking cookies, though I don’t think they can create false links (can they?). They’re gone now. It’s really odd as I’ve not had anything like this happen before. hmmmm.
I’ve had this happen to me a few times too. When it’s happened, I’ve right-clicked the link that did it, went to properties, and the Web Address listed is actually a porn re-direct.
