I’m looking for the cover to a driver-side mirror (or “door mirror”) on a 2003 BMW 525i (after learning it’d run me between 120-150 at the dealership.) I’m not sure if the piece I’m looking for is normally referred to as a “mirror cover” or “mirror overlay.” I’ve been searching online all morning but I’m not very auto savvy and I’m not getting great results.

I did find the exact part I was looking for, but I called the company up and they said they didn’t know when they’d have it back in stock. Does anyone have any suggestions other than getting one from a dealer? Thanks for the help.
There’s one on Ebay. Granted, this is the whole assembly including the mirror, not just the cover. You may look around Ebay Motors for a couple of days and see if one turns up. There are a couple salvage places which have an Ebay store; one of those might have what you’re looking for.
Yeah I searched around on ebay for a little bit - looks like I might have to suck it up and just buy from the dealership. I was hoping a few members might know of a good site that deals with this kind of stuff that for some reason I couldn’t find on the search engines. Thanks for looking though!
