there is/was a website that was hosted by a retired vet that I’m 99% sure lived in Texas. The websites info was layed out in symptom based sections and catered almost exclusively to just dogs and cats. The info was very thorough and not presented in a manner or way that favored certain products or procedures unless there was, in his experience, a very good reasoning behind it.
Specifically, regarding immunizations of animals, he was of the opinion that a lot of it was needed but pushed on to people and their pets in a too much, too frequently kind of way, not looking after the pets best interest as much as peoples pocketbooks best interest.
He had a very high demand of people all over the country wishing to speak to him and eventually offered a phone consultation service for a slight fee. The powers that be in his state tried, successfully I think, to shut that down and keep him from doing so. He had letters posted that were sent to him by the powers that be as well as their contact info for people to respond and voice their thoughts on their decisions to restrict access to him.
My problem I’m having is a lost that link a few years back and despite my googlefu (really duckduckgofu) typically being quite strong, I haven’t had any luck finding his site. Does any of this sound familiar to anyone? Anyone have a link to share?
