Searching for poster/info on a big motorcycle from '60s-'70s

Back in the Seventies (or so), Easyriders magazine printed a poster of a big motorcycle. The bike was built like an early 20th Century motorcycle with tiller steering, but the engine was big enough that it might have been out of a semi and the wheels might have been taken off a farm tractor. The thing had at least an eight foot wheelbase, probably ten or more.

IIRC, the poster was printed in a sepia tone. There was a rock building in the picture, and it looked to me like the picture was taken in the mountains of Northern California. The rider looked like a typical biker of the time, wearing colors and a skipper’s cap, or something like that.

Can anyone point me to a copy of this picture? I’d like to have a copy of this poster or at least show a picture to some friends, but I can’t find as much as a picture of this thing on the internet. Bonus points to anyone who knows more about the bike, which engine was used, and/or where it was from. If anyone here can help, I’d appreciate it.

All I could find was this http://motorcyclecity.com/Odd/ . The one I was looking for was about 20 feet long and buillt by a guy from the northern part of the us. I cant find it anywhere on the net. It was in one of the motorcycle mags last year and I have been through all of them that I can find and still no luck.

Thanks BC, late as this is. The 20 foot long bike may be the one I’m thinking of. The wheels in your picture are the right size, but the engine was a lot bigger.
