Searching stuffs things up.

When I do a username search, thats fine, no problems.
However when I try to do a search for specific words and then sort by relevancy the page times out before it gets anywhere. Page loads on the rest of the board slows down afterwards to. I haven’t tried other searches, mainly because I haven’t remembered to do so just before I go to bed or to do something else.

Is any one else experiencing this problem? Is it something that can be remedied or just something I will have to live with?

Longstanding problem.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. Mostly it’s slow, in any event.

Not a very robust search engine in vB and doesn’t work too swiftly.

Not sure what, if anything, we can do about it.
