Meadowlands Stadium in New Jersey (which I know is no longer officially called the Meadowlands) is the home to two NFL teams, the Giants and the Jets.
So how does it work if you buy season tickets? I’m guessing that you buy season tickets for one of the two teams - if you buy Giants’ season tickets, you can attend all the Giants’ home games but not the Jets’ home games. Is this correct?
What happens if the Giants and the Jets play each other? Is one of them designated as a visiting team?
The real question is, if your shell out mega cash for a Jets PSL, and someone else has shelled out mega cash for a Giants PSL for the same seat…who ‘owns’ the seat when (insert arena rock band here) reforms and sells out a stadium tour?
What if MetLife* Stadium hosts a Super Bowl? If I paid $20,000 for a pair of seat licenses, I don’t care who’s in the Super Bowl, I want to first dibs on buying the ticket to the event. But I wouldn’t get it. But then again, I’m not buying a PSL either.
I’m not big government by any means, and I’m anti-Death Penalty, but selling Personal Seat Licenses should be punishable by death.
*As a Jets fan, I prefer “Giants Stadium” to “MetLife Stadium.”
