Seat belts on school busses. Why not?

Weapons? Can you find an example of this ever actually happening? There are already millions of school buses on the roads that are fitted with seat belts so if I can “rest assured that it would happen”, it must already have.

Then there’s the obvious missing bit in the reasons not to have seatbelts on school buses: because there are also school children on school buses. Short buses have seat belts. I rode on a short bus in grade school. Seatbelt fights were a constant thing. And those things HURT.

Surprisingly, Cecil didn’t mention the other source of additional injuries that would be sustained on school buses if they had seat belts: kids hitting each other with them. Seatbelt fights were a common occurrence on the short bus I rode as a kid.
