I’m out tonight, because it’s Simone’s birthday and we’re going out for dinner. Not to the pub.
Jason is hosting tonight, but Kevin wrote the quiz – he’s out of town. Requested round: Pokemon. Or invertibrates.
Maybe this is invertebrate of me, but I’m wimping out and nursing what’s left of this cold instead. See you next week.

I’m not sure I believe this cold, since tonight is the season premiere of Glee. But I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt. Feel better.

Tonight was a very pleasant surprise. I had the big table, out of habit, but knew I was probably alone for the night. A group asked if they could share the table.
They were first-timers at the OP, and most had just met each other. They were a group from meetup.com. They had nine people, and I asked to join in. We drew lots to divide ourselves into two teams.
The other group came in 11th out of 15 teams. My half of the group won, much to our surprise. An excellent evening.

I don’t know who’s hosting or what the special round is, but I do know that my attendance is uncertain. I’ve got a sick kid who’s in a major Mama phase, so it will depend on how the evening goes. I’ll text somebody when I have a better idea.
