Seattle Pub Trivia 2010: The Return of the Smurf

Posting early to tell you I’m not showing up. I’ve got something just a smidgen less trivial to do. I feel confident the team can survive without me.

I’m planning to be there, and I believe Cervaise is, too.

Anyone else?

I can’t make it tonight. A daughter needs some quality bonding time with her mother, which means running interference between infant and mommy as much as possible. And I can’t do that from the pub, apparently, so I’ll be home.

Note: You can expect a round on WA state history, and Mehal says it’s a fairly “academic” quiz overall.

I’ll most likely be there.

We almost never come in fourth place, but now we don’t have to wait to request a round topic: I wish someone would do a quiz round on ...

I’m a maybe-leaning-toward-no tonight, because I’ve caught my son’s cold. If I go, though, I’ll have baked goods with me.

Anyone else?

I’ll be there.

I’m a ‘maybe’ tonight. Post big tournament + coach out of town usually = low turnout at practice, so we’ll see.

I’ll probably be there. Kind of depends on how the day goes on the home front, so I won’t really know until I’m heading out the door. Or I’m not heading out the door.

I shall attend.

Oh, special round topic tonight: Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.

One more thing … Proposed team name: Mostly Smurfless

[/columbo]

Great, another round topic I know nothing about: HHG2TG. Much more of this, and I’ll have to turn in my nerd card.

Aw, now I really hope I feel well enough to go! I love HHG2TG!

Also: Cervaise is a “probably.”

I’ll most likely be there.

I should be there tonight. I know Cervaise is out. Everyone else: Sound off!

(Oh, and the special round is on Seinfeld. I’ll be mostly useless.)

I’m in.

I plan to be there, and will also be useless on the Seinfeld round.

I’m out - and would have been very nearly useless on the Seinfeld round.
Have fun.

I’m in a lousy mood, and about to start 5 hours of meetings. I can’t decide if that means I’ll want to avoid people afterward, or if I’ll need to get out and relax at the pub.

Call me a maybe.
