Did you perhaps mean “sequestered”?
Never heard it in that context. A jury can be sequestered (kept away from other people) during a trial (for example, if there’s a fear of tampering).
I have heard Seconded (as you have it pronounced) to mean the temporary appointment to organization Y of someone working at organization X. (so, if I work at museum X, and museum Y needs someone who does what I do, I could be seconded–I’d still be an employee of X, but I’d be working temporarily for Y)
Do you mean sequestered? Secluded? I’ve never heard the word “seconded” in the context you describe.
Perhaps you mean in the context of when someone seconds a motion in a vote, such as “the motion was seconded”?:dubious:
