Isn’t there a Supreme Hierarchy of International Terrorists?
Absolutely UNCLE… specially if I can be partnered with the cute blond russian…Used to know the name but am getting senile the closer I get to 40
Question: Didn’t James West and Artemis Gordon work for and acronymed agency?mmm Ross Martin…
Ilya Kuryakin
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!
umm thanks detop… the only other person who shared that adolescent crush with me was Mom… and she’s dead… I didn’t think I should bother her… she’s prolly workin on Ross Martin:D
Anybody remember “The Kids from C.A.P.E.R.”?
The Civilian Authority for the Protection of Everybody, Regardless.
Totally cheezy '70’s Saturday morning show with music videos, and one of them went crazy if you said the word “bananas”.
Not the most intimidating bunch, though.
We had an official Man from U.N.C.L.E. capgun w/shoulder holster, so I’d work for them.
Well, what did KAOS (or CHAOS?) stand for??
Probe from the show Search.
Illya Nickovitch Kuryakin.
If I recall, they both worked for the US Secret Service and/or the US Marshal’s, neither of which have an acronym.
Even as a kid, I wondered why a Foundation for Law and Government would sponsor a vigilante who broke almost every law he could find.
By the way? Anyone remember who the Airwolf guys flew for (as a contractor?) I vaguely remember it being something like the Foundation or The Company.
Evil and badness generally. Plus the occasional bout of nastiness.
As for their name (KAOS), it didn’t stand for anything.
Quick trivia: name three people who work for WITSEC.
Smersh from the russian “smert’ shpionam” or “death to spies”
I’d work for them.
I hate spies.
“the only other person who shared that adolescent crush with me was Mom… and she’s dead… I didn’t think I should bother her… she’s prolly workin on Ross Martin”
Nope. My SO still loves that guy (who’s real name escapes me). Robert Vaughan played his partner. Trivia: Robert Vaughan holds a Ph.D. in American History (IIRC). His doctoral dissertation was on the Hollywood Ten.
David McCallum (sp?) was Ilya in The Man From U.N.C.L.E.
Yeah, I could have looked it up at IMDB, but I didn’t.
[smart ass]
You hate bad spies.
If they were good at what they do, you wouldn’t know they were spies.
[/smart ass]
I don’t remember if this was from a TV show or a movie, I’m sure someone can help me remember
P.A.G.A.N.
People Against Goodness And Niceness.
Chronos could probably help you remember.
Uh, in the series it was Illya (two l’s) Kuryakin.
We had our own Man From U.N.C.L.E. club in middle school, and I was a huge Illya Kuryakin fangirl.
My mistake, I used to watch it 30 odd-years ago (in French), so I stand connected And also can you verify the patronymic that carnivorousplant provided ? Because, although I don’t speak Russian, Nickovitch sounds wrong to me. Could it be Nikolaievitch perhaps ?
What did COBRA stand for? I want to work from them. I’d get to shoot at GI Joe all day long with sweet laser guns, with no chance of dying!
Doesn’t anyone remember S.P.L.A.T.
The Special Police Licensed Animal Team.
Great Grape Ape and Beagly Beagly worked for them.
I also used it in a game of Toon once.
