I’m going to college in a month and was wondering if any one knew of a method of securing a lap top to a desk or a flat surface, so that every time i leave the room I don’t have to disconnect my printer, external mouse, extra usb port for my printer/mouse/mp3 player and then lock it either in my closet or trunk. I’ve already been warned about just leaving things out on my desk unsecured by other students and the university itself, and i can’t afford to buy another computer because it was stolen. any suggestions?
Most laptops have a little slot for securing a cable lock like this.
You should also insure your computer so you can afford to replace it if it gets stolen. And back up your data.
