Sky and Telescope has a nifty JavaScript utility which shows the relative positions of the four Galilean moons for any date from 1900 to 2100.
Thanks! That’s exactly what I saw. I had no idea they move so fast - they’ll be in very different positions tonight.
Cool! cwPartner and I hauled out the binoculars and got to see Jupiter and its moons earlier this evening (we used the JavaScript utility to confirm that those were the moons we were looking at).
