Selected verses elected

This is starting to piss me off real bad.

Some say bush was selected not elected. I beg to differ.

lets look at how this works.

gore (if we would have gone by popular vote) would have won, however we do not go by the popular vote. we go by the electorial college.

why?

lets site an example.

If i were in a state that has very few people. and i was the only one who voted in my state. And you were in a state that had more people, and 3 of you voted the same way, that would cancel my vote out completly.

but lets say your in a state that has the same amount of electorial votes as mine. for purposes of discussion we will say 4 electorial votes. My vote counts the same as your 3 votes. If i were the only person in my state voting, My vote would could for those 4 electorial college votes and the 3 of you who voted the same would count for 4 votes.

It’s done that way so that states that have a billion (sarcasm) people living in it would not just steal an election.

GET over yourselves with this thing about bush being selected not elected.

GORE LOST GET OVER IT.
