The day has ended well. We had a young guy and his girlfriend come over - we’d called him about being our snow-clearing guy and we wanted him to give us an estimate. He said $25, we said yes. Nice kid - he works for the county plus he has a side business of landscaping and stuff. I can see us hiring him for stuff. I can also see us giving him more than $25 if we get a lot of snow - honestly, I’d have been happy with $40 or $50. We’ll see how the winter goes.
Then we went to Ledo’s for supper - I got soup, salad and breadsticks, and **FCD **just got a salad. It was yum. We’ve got ice cream for later. Yay!
And now, I’m going to knit the night away. *** MWAH!!!

It’s Vidalia season, whoooo! MrTao made deeeeelishus homemade onion rings, and they were, indeedly, deeeelishus.
I am now baking off some chicken and salt-crusted potatoes, yum!
Son is out on his first real date. He bought her some chocolates from a nearby sweets store. 
She was over yesterday and stayed for dinner. Nice girl. Son cleared her plate for her. Very sweet.
if we sent you a spoon or fork that we liked could you make one for a fee? I think that would be a fabulous Christmas gift. I assume silver and gold spoons work best since they wouldn’t react with skin like copper.

Unfortunately, my spoon ring making skills are somewhat unpredictable. Just because I intend to make a size 8 does not mean that I end up with a size 8. It might turn out as a 7 or a 9. :dubious: I do have some spoon rings in stock on my Etsy store, though. When I went to look at it now it surprised me how few I have listed (about 35). So, I’m going to add some more in the next week or two as I currently have about 750 rings in stock altogether.
Doggio, I told the HFUNs about my wardrobe malfunction today and Mrs. HFUN and her mom both laughed. Mr. HFUN just got this look on his face like I am surrounded by waaaay too many women.

I am home from the party. I was a bit apprehensive about going because despite the fact that I’ve seen them several times here and there it was regarding something that I have been helping them with. This was the first family party in awhile and he should have been there and we all knew it and felt it. That being said, I’m glad that I went and we really did have a good time. And the birthday girl really was surprised.

JDD and Partner stayed the night so there are people in slumber all over da cave. Everyone said last night they want to deheathenate this mornin’ so I shall soon need to gently awaken so’s purtification can commence. I need to get to the church house a little early to take care of pre-deheathenization ushin’ duties bein’ as I am ushin’ today. Thus I should commence my purtification ritual.
I already et me some cereal with milk and some toast with strawberry jam. YUM! This is an everybody figures out brekkie for themselves mornin’.

Good morning! I’ve been up for 2 hours and I’ve spent most of that time in bed watching Netflix. I’m hungry, but my sweetie is still in bed, so I may just go ahead and eat without him. I don’t feel like going out for breakfast today anyway.
And I am not a fan of stuffing birds into birds into birds. ick. You people are all insane!!!
