I’m up and caffeinated, since somebody was shoving a squeaky toy in my face at 0715. Today is cleaning out storage day. followed by football.

Nope. I’m actually surprised they’re only charging two dollars additional for that style vs. the other. I would think it would be significantly more labor, if for no other reason than the way the cut end has been rounded off on that one.
I’m up. Today is day one of Study, Study,Study! So, see you all later after some studying has occurred.

Supper is in the crockpot -we’re having pot roast tonight. 
Veggies will be added later. **FCD **just left with a truckload of trash and recycling for the convenience center. I’ve had breakfast, and I’m thinking now would be a good time to toss a load of jeans into the washer then toss myself into the shower.

I’m up and have been for a good while now.
Yesterday was busy; stopped at the battery store to buy batteries, dropped my Expedition off for new tires, went to Best Buy, bought some movies and looked at other stuff, came back home for a very short bit, went back to Les Schwab to pick up my rig, went down to Lowes to buy furnace filters, then to Walgreens to pick up pics I had printed, then home, cleaned the kitchen, then back out to Costco where I picked up a “few” :rolleyes: items, then back home, then prepared dinner for MiL, husband and me.
It was a long day. There was other stuff in there, but that’s all I remember.
I’m going back down to the hospital today to spend a couple, few hours with my Dad.
On the way home, I’d like to stop at Target and pick up a couple of things there. I also have laundry to do
I am truly ashamed that I didn’t see how easily I set you up…
First load of laundry is on the line, second load in the machine. House has been vacuumed and mystery black stains on the carpet have been spot-cleaned. **FCD **has returned from his trash/recycling adventure and he’s playing in his workshop. I’m taking a break till the next load of wash is done. I think today will be decorating-penguin-spoon-rests day. 
My day is done, I grossed out my wife by 1030. She doesn’t like the smell of hot vinegar, and I made a batch of pickled sausage…
Finally got round to filtering the plum wine into a demi-john; I hope I got the timing right, one recipe said leave for 5 days in a bucket with all the fruit in, one said leave for 10- I left it 7, so I hope that was OK. The problem with brewing is that you don’t find out if you made a mistake for ages, months in this case.
Went to the circus club at the Uni, which just restarted for the year, there’s a few new people, but not that many. We need to work out how to make them stick around… apparently the first week there was loads, but that was only last sunday and most of them seem to have been scared them off already :eek:
Came home to discover the most exciting bit of the day though- the eejits from the top flat, the ones who party all the time, leave the door open, and strew rubbish all over the place are MOVING OUT!
They were carryin’ stuff to a van as I came in! I managed to avoid partyin’ in the corridor, and just asked them if they wanted me to forward on any post for them. I really really hope we get someone nice next time! Just someone who’s faintly aware that there are other people in the same building who would quite like to sleep at 4am would be ok…
MOOOOOOM GMTA once again! Pot roast was had for N.O.L. here at da cave. A mighty good pot roast it was if’n I do say so myself. Plus, leftovers for tomorrow night’s dindin! YAY!!!
I have a biiiiiiiiig slow cooker full of beef veggie soup, or what will be beef veggie soup when it’s done, simmerin’ away out on the back porch. Some of it will be dindin one night this week and the rest will be batched up and frozen. I also have some chikin’ boobs and thighs simmerin’ away on the stove that will become chikin’ 'n dumplin’s for one night’s dindin tis week. In a little bit, I shall make up a beastloaf for another night’s dindin. I feel like a cross between Rachel Ray and June Cleaver.

I have done a little bit of studying, but not much so far. I was feeling pretty crummy this morning so I ended up going back to bed for awhile. Now I’m up and getting ready to start on a group project. Rah.
Why yes I am StickyBuns. That, a freshly starched and ironed house dress which, of course, I made myself, a strand of pearls and sensible, yet stylish, modest heels.
