I love web comics and I’m always looking for a new one so I checked this out. The art…immediately turned me off. I don’t consider myself an art snob when it comes to comics but if a comic is going to keep my interest it needs either amazing art, an intriguing story line or (ideally) both. Sadly, I just couldn’t even get past the first five pages. It just didn’t grab me. I even skipped to the last page to see if the art improved to a point where I could at least watch the artist grow and improve (which I love to do) but that doesn’t seem to be the case.
Point taken the art is pretty awful, but the story is fairly engaging once it gets chugging.
I just bookmarked it.
If the art sucks and the story takes a while to get going, I’m not going to read it.
I found myself drawn in. Read all of it, and enjoyed it.
