Selling barely used jewelry : pawn , consignment , ebay, craigslist ?

What’s the best way to dump some barely used jewelry? More sepcifically, it’s an engagement and wedding ring from several years ago that I haven’t bothered to do anything about.

I could use some cash and I’d like to be done with it in about a month. I have no idea how long a consignment may take, so I’m not so hot on that idea.

How much can I expect to get for it (as a percentage of its original retail value)?

Well, I think with consignment, or those Items into Cash places, you might get 25% of retail.

You could do better on e-bay, particularly if you have an appraisal.
