Just curious. I have some SOG multi tools and SOG Flash II folding knives I going to sell on eBay and wondering if I should open it up to international bidders.
If I ship to the UK will I get in trouble?

Folding, non folding knives etc are perfectly legal to own in the uk.
Here’s some information on knife ownership/carry law in the UK:
The SOG Flash II folding knife will be illegal in the UK, as it has a locking mechanism.
Also, you will be required to verify the buyers age to ensure that they are over 18.
Lock knives are illegal to carry in public, but not to own - you can own one and use it for whittling sticks in the garden.
That is a really very illogical list of illegal knives for mere posession.
The knives that I use are far more dangerous than any of those listed, I have friends who are chefs and butchers, their knives are leagues more lethal and they take them to work and back regularly.
Yes - it’s more or less based on a notion of criminalising knives that are perceived as offensive weapons, but I have a Sabatier in the kitchen that would make a much more effective weapon than a little pocket lock knife - the list as it stands here is pretty much the result of wanting to ban all knives, but conceding that some are useful.
We’ve seen boneheaded campaigns to ban or nerf all kinds of knives though - for example here:
The Flash II is my favorite EDC right now. I love them.
Why on earth would you ever want to get rid of one!
I will give you 6 of your American Dollars for one right now!
I was over ambitious re buying and simply got a few too many and was looking to get rid of a one yellow and two green handled units.
No, no, no, silly. You put one in the car, the tacklebox, the other car, your desk, your bike, etc.
That way you always have one nearby.
Of course, the DHFUG lovingly accepts cutlery as well. I’ll fax you the donation forms.
This is a list of prohibited items that you can’t send through the mail within the UK. It would seem to follow that you couldn’t send them from elsewhere to within the UK.
Knives are in the final category of ‘weapons’ but it merely says ‘flick knives’.
Nope the law is that they count as fixed knives and illegal to carry all the time without cause. But if your off fishing that fine or have some reason to have it or need it. The only thing you can carry “just in case i need it” is an ordinary non locking pocket knife of under 3 inches.
