Senator Lindsey Graham has died, plus discussion about his potential replacement

Local citizens: Worse! And useless!

Oh they can just move. They’re resilient - probably use a good kick in the pants anyway.

In her latest debate, asked about China vs Taiwan, Darline replied that she don’t know nothin about national security.

But she will say this; she supports the military. Her brother, Lindsey, was in the military.

She may have said more, but I was too embarassed for her to keep watching.

She was appointed to fill her brother’s term, and announced her intention to run for a full term, a month ago. Whoever she has on her Senatorial staff, and her campaign staff, has had a month to give her crash courses in topics like this; either they have done a terrible job at that, or she’s a bad student.

Either way, her response shows that she’s a poor debater and poor at giving a good response to an unexpected question – which, frankly, should have been an expected question.

I’m pretty sure she inherited her brother’s well-seasoned staff. This is all on her.

Give 'em all a break. They obviously haven’t told her what her opinions are quite yet. It’s been a busy few weeks.

They may have had time if they weren’t all busy updating their resumes.

She doesn’t need to know squat, all she has to know is how the party wants her to vote.

Just what the country needs: another unqualified person in the Senate. Politics must be the only job in the USA where your resume doesn’t mean shit. You don’t need any experience or even any schooling to serve in a position that affects millions of lives. And you can stay in that job even if you’re drooling in your oatmeal. It’s like Bizzaroworld.

Her late brother, whatever his myriad faults, at least would say he stood by our allies and security commitments (see: Ukraine).

But yeah she does come across as someone who expects that between her family bond and Trump’s blessing she does not have to earn it.

She’s not wrong.

I’m pretty sure she said that South Carolinians care more about “boys in girls sports” or something, than foreign policy. Meanwhile, we’re actually at war, and she’s not trying to be a school administrator or even a state-level politician, but a senator.

Wait up. An American politician is willing to stand up, in public, and go on the record saying they support the military?

Bold move, Ms. Graham. Profile in courage right there.

I don’t think she explicitly says that, but it is one of her top interests. Here’s one of her recent commercials: she mentions three priorities: keeping boys out of girl’s sports, taking away the last trace of abortion rights, and making voting harder.

Nothing about the inherent evil of taxes? Huh, some Republican she is.

But, her brother was a Senator! So it transfers over, through Osmosis or something.

Did You Know? By winning an election, a Congress critter or Senator has been “deemed” to have passed a background check.

Just kill me now.

According to Hannity:

“To be fair, if people want to judge you on the South China Sea and Taiwan, ok, I think that’s fair. But I bet, based on all your time with your brother, that you know probably everything about the Middle East because he went on one trip after another to every country in the Middle East. And I know you know a lot about Europe and the Ukraine-Russia situation because he went to Ukraine more than any other senator.”

Which demonstrates the adage, no matter how bad things are, they can always get worde.

Only with the correct letter after their name.
