Been there. I am currently getting over The Cold, also in a single state of being. But the worst was living alone and going through the loss of my godfather. There were times, usually late at night, when I’d wake up and forget he was gone, and then it would hit me. And all I wanted was someone who cared about me to hold me.
I suppose there are advantages to being single, the toilet seat is where you want it, you’re free to spend your Friday nights with The Girls with no one grumbling. But at times of moral or phsysical crisis, I’m with ya, sister. There ain’t nothing like a fella.
Bill I don’t trust you anymore. You’re even over there hitting on Sua, ferchrissakes. Methinks someone is in NEED!

Since I was downsized about a month ago my days are pretty free. I’m not sick, but it’d be nice to have a guy around to cheer me up and take me to dinner since food is becoming optional. However; I’d be happy to bring you some supplies and my dog Lilly who is like a very small, living hot water bottle. (13 lbs) Then when you get well, we’ll go have a big girl’s night out and get REALLY sick.

Ok Nym. Upon seeing this thread, my cold, which was a nice, innocent, harmless little cold, turned into… THE PLAGUE. Swear to God it’s the plague. Unfortunately, there’s a 10% chance you’ll survive the plague.
And I don’t even have my own bed to curl up and die in!

Well, I must say that is nicer than saying I am DESPERATE! Oh, lemme see, I was unceremoniously discarded at Thanksgiving, of 1999, so I have been, shall we say, lonely? for 15 and a half months. And the Sua thing was in error. I normally don’t hit on guys, although I am glad it provided some comic relief, at least.
Your last post was lucid and clever, you must be getting better. A little “small world” stuff, I almost moved to your town a few years back (I checked the profile, I’m not stalking you, at least not at the moment). But I didn’t. Sigh. I could be there RIGHT NOW if I had. My loss. But I have tickets to the Bulls-Heat game Wednesday.
I’m out here in the ChiBurbs, I’ve got time on my hands…Nym, I’m willing to play butler for a while. Anything beyond that <slightly salacious shrug>.

My humblest apologies for the constant Hijacking Nymysys I’d never do it intentionally. Anyways mighty_maxx I’d get on yahoo but with this damned NT they have running on these computers are work you cannot download anything and install it. Oh yeah the thing for March 30th is still on. It’ll just be you, Mrs. Tiki, and myself. Personally I can’t wait to see Mrs. Tiki trashed, but I’ll leave that for another time. I’ll give you a call this weekend to see whats going on.
