As long as all your equipment is perfectly clean and you’re cooking it right away, I suppose it could be. In the real world, I wouldn’t trust anyone to present undercooked ground beef to me unless I personally watched it get made.

If you’re pouring by eye that’s pretty much the only way to get consistent serving sizes.
