I just read the column that’s up this week as the Straight Dope Classic, about feeding a vegetarian diet to carnivorous pets. Not that any of you should have noticed, but I often weigh in on pet/animal-related threads, where I’ve claimed as a credential the fact that I worked in a pet store for six years while I was in school. Well, Cece quotes as a source for this 1996 column my boss at the time, Donna Dunlap at Park View Pet Shop in Chicago.
