Series made by the film packagers

Of the series in the history of television that were based on films of the same title, how many have been made and packaged by the same people who made the films?

There are two that I know of that have been like that, and both ABC series:

The Odd Couple, a 1970-75 comedy from Paramount Television (that studio also made the 1968 film on which it was based)

Blue Thunder, a short-lived 1984 action-adventure from Rastar, Public Arts, and CPT (Columbia also made the 1983 film by that name)

I think you mean:

TV series that were produced by the same team that made the film they’re based on.

Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea Twentieth Century Fox

MASH was by 20th Century Fox, though it’s not unusual for the movie production company to produce the TV show.

The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles had George Lucas producing.

Nothing to add to the list, but I think we have to put an asterisk to The Odd Couple since it was originally a play (by Neil Simon, 1965)

I don’t think Paramount produced the play

(in fairness, Neil Simon himself wrote the Screen-play for the movie. He was not however involved with the TV series for most of its run.)

That’s correct! That’s exactly what I meant.

How much does The Sarah Connor Chronicles count? Not a lot of the same production team, I don’t think, but James Cameron did work on it.

(I mean of the original film. It was produced by some of the people from one of the movie’s sequels.)
