Man, what I would give to put the worm an a tiny weapons pod.
The post so nice he had to submit it twice.
When you gonna hit the Guylindt?

Mawnin all,
Busy day, gotta get to irk.
Happy Thorsday all
Jim
I didn’t get one of the infamous, “You are an idiot. Please try again in 2 seconds” messages.
I am pondering what to make for brunch.
Whenever the Islanders or Rangers Booster Clubs host Convention up there. ![]()
The Hamsters have you on ignore, too.![]()
They are probably still angry about that party where I drank too much and pointed out that all they do is move little green pellets from one box to another.
Da mean ol’ bear strikes again! I’ve been [del]harrassin’[/del] callin’ folks all mornin’ to remind ‘em of stuff they need to get done and givin’ deadlines. As it stands the nasty warnin’ letter is on its way to several of 'em. You’d think they’d learn by now but they don’t.
In other news, OYKW’s phone is here! I had it delivered to his irkplace cause that’s where he said he wanted it delivered. FedEx showed up with it about an hour ago. He’s got it chargin’ up. However, he wants me to call and do the activation for some reason. Thus he shall bring it over to da cave this evenin’ and I shall. Sari I shall also attempt the trick you told me about. Be great if’n I didn’t have to manually input all his contacts even if’n there are less than twenty of 'em. I’m kinda lazy like that.
And now it’s N.O.L. time! YAY!!!
rosie, come on down to Nashville and crawl with us! We can do anywhere from the Delta Ballroom to the diviest of the dives.
I might actually get caught up by Firday. You don’t miss you co-orkers so much until you have to cover for them. The company had N.O.L catered today for 170 days accident free. Chicken, catfish and the trimmings.
Happy Thorsday!!
and it is a Happy Day
I do not have cancer.
I figured I didn’t when I didn’t get called in right away but today I know for sure.
The doctors are going to watch the big ass cysts on my ovaries and I may have to go through one more procedure but it is up to me and at this point I am saying NO!
It’s a pretty, sunny day today although a bit hot.
We had lunch at Valentino’s, good food and leftovers for later. Lots of pictures of Rudolph on the walls and cloth napkins on the tables.
Looks like you got a lot of crabs 2Gig
Go get 'em Swampy
We’re back in the crab-monitoring business!
We drove to Columbia to get our badges and the tablet, plus the assorted paperworks. First assigned day is Saturday. **FCD **will handle most of the days, but I’ll fill in when he’s got things to do.
They also told us that the fisheries monitoring will expand from just crabs to all fisheries, so it’ll be a year-round gig. Because of that, they’ll be shrinking down the territories, and it may be possible for us to each have a separate territory. We shall see.
**sari **- we were kinda-sorta in your area - we had lunch at Noodles & Co on Richie Highway up near the beltway crossing. I don’t remember the name of the shopping center, but I can’t imagine there are too many Noodle & Co around there. Then we headed down I97 to come home. Now we’re home. Duh.
Meanwhile, I’ve got a brisket that’s been in the slow-cooker since early this morning. It’s smelling yum in here. I’ll be making some carrots and lump N.O.T.s as sides - tasty supper in store.
Badges? We ain’t got no badges! I don’t have to show you no stinking badges!
So I am all rested up and we are hitting the road at 0400. We are gonna try to slip through Miami before the traffic gets bad. I finally found someone to feed my rotten cat while we are away.
We have new neighbors who have an old orange cat that is terrorizing my cat. So, hopefully she will be ok. My hubby refuses to put our cat in the kennel because he doesn’t want her in a cage. So here’s hoping Scooter the cat will be ok for a few days.
I am not really looking forward to a 14 hour trip but at least I don’t Drive. Hubby does all the driving. Me and Lucky Louie will sit in the back seat and be chauffeured. We are bringing along sandwich makings so we don’t have to eat road food.
If I had been home you would have been about 5 minutes from me FCM. I think that shopping center is Chesapeake Square but I could be wrong.
How was Noodles? I haven’t tried them but my mom wasn’t impressed.
Butters from my experience as a pet sitter cats do a whole lot better at home. Most dogs do as well unless they are really bad about being left alone. Not only is the cat in a cage when boarded but they are in a cluster of cages with other cats nearby and most of them are stressed. A cat may get lonely but at least it’s home in familiar surroundings and smells. Unless a cat needs meds and is hard to find/catch/pill it’s probably happier at home.
Have a good trip!
**sari **- I think Noodles is kinda meh, but my sweetie likes their Pad Thai. I had the Pesto *Something *- it wasn’t too bad. No, it wasn’t called Pesto Something - I just don’t remember what came after Pesto…
BTW - congrats on no cancer!!!
2Gig, Mooommm’s watchin’ you!!! ![]()
If I had been home and you had called I would have taken you to Mikies, a hole in the wall diner but the food is good and inexpensive. They have the best shrimp salad sandwiches and real lemonade.
TY - I was all smiles after that visit, although I have no idea why I had to go in. Everything they said could have been said over the phone and the exam was just the basics.
Aw, man, and I love me some shrimp salad… Where is it, in case we’re back that way after you’ve moved??
Just about a mile further south on the corner of Crain Hwy and Furnace Branch Rd. Crain Hwy branches off to the right as you go down Ritchie, then go through the light and Mikies is on the left at the next intersection.
