Seven's neural patterns have disappeared...we've lost her...

carnivorousplant,

I don’t have a cite–I quoted from the print version of TV Guide. I’ve never looked to see if they have a website, though I assume they do.

Being a straight Kentuckian, who is a CNC Machinist and works on a daily basis with Engineers, I refuse to stop saying redneck.

Sir Rhosis

LOL!

Ha! That proves it! You guys don’t know whiskey from warm water!

You might not know whiskey, but you know your Berman interviews. He did indeed say maybe.

Shuckins.

My understanding was that Vulcans only get the urge to have sex every 7 years, and that the feverish desire only seems to apply to males. In TOS and Voyager episodes that feature this, it’s only males that develop the blood fever. Especially in TOS, the female Vulcan object of desire seemed to view the process as a kind of business decision. It would be entirely possible for a female Vulcan to have sex for logical reasons with a human male who has no once-every-seven-years restriction.

To further hijack this thread. . .

Somebody clue me in on Vulcan Sex. I have always been under the impression that Vulcans can have sex whenever they like, only that once every seven years they catch their pon farr and must mate with the one specific individual they have been mind-melded with or die. So, general everyday sex anytime, big blow-out honeymoon night every seven years.

Or am I wrong?

Sir Rhosis

I’m with you Rhosis. I tried to say the same thing, only not quite as clearly.
