Sex Question (not really but read)

Ok now that I have you attention I have to ask a question, I was afraid if I posted it with a different header I would not get a response.

I was wondering what exactly would happen if someone’s teeth were knocked loose from a fight or an accident? I don’t mean knocked out but merely knocked loose. Would they eventually tighten up on their own or would you have to see a dentist?

Depends. I think the most significant variables are:

  • what damage occurs to your gum and jaw?
  • what is the health of the gum and jaw (with enough periodontal disease, they will never set)?
  • what is your overall health (diabetics don’t heal well in this aspect - personal experience)?
  • which teeth (front teeth are more difficult to “set” than rear)?
  • are they set or braced in any way during the healing process?

See a dentist. They can best determine what needs to be done for the teeth to heal properly. My front teeth were damaged in a car accident. No help for them to set, and nearly 16 years later they are still loose and still hurt daily. I’ve been told if I had dental treatment, they would have set more properly.

I hope you’re not asking this because this has happened to you and you are debating whether or not to see a dentist. If so, go to the best damn dentist you can afford NOW. Imagine not being able to eat a lot of foods, bite an apple or even a sandwich, and being in pain every fucking day of your life - and you’re just in your 30’s and it has been going on since you were 15. Fun, fun silly-willy!

OH no I’m just fine, I actually was reading a book in which a man passed out while exercising and landed face first into the ground with bloody nose, loose teeth etc. That got me wondering what would happen with someone’s teeth, like whether or not they would heal on their own etc.

This is not how the forum works. In the future, please do not insult your fellow members with misleading topic titles.

You are wasting the time of your fellow members and significantly decreasing the chances of getting good answers to a perfectly legitimate OP. (You got a good response this time, though.)

I’m going to close this thread. Please feel free to re-open it with a proper title.
