I’m trying to come up with a very short PSA to be played on a Rhode Island radio station. It’s intended to encourage 18-24 year olds to register and vote. Anyway, here’s the script for what I’ve got so far - if anyone has any thoughts, they’d be much appreciated. Thanks!
SCRIPT BEGINS
Guy #1: Man, I finally did it with Julie!
Guy #2: Nice! How was it?
Guy #1: Best ten seconds of my life.
Guy #1. Wow! Registering to vote in Rhode Island sure is easy.
Uh, minor correction. That last line should be by Guy #2, not #1. D’oh!
No thoughts or comments on what you’ve done, but … you reckon you can add sex appeal to voting? Really?
Worth a shot, I suppose … good luck with the ad. 
I think it’s well done! It’ll get the listeners attention I think. It it can be a bit longer, though, you might want to play on the sex angle a little more. For example:
Guy #1: I finally did it!
Guy #2: It’s about time! With who?
Guy #1: Julie. Man that was the best ten seconds of my life.
Guy #2: Ten seconds?
Guy #1: Yep. Registering to vote in Rhode Isalnd sure is easy.
I’m sure you can do better, that’s just a suggestion.

Perhaps something about Guy #1 becoming 18, and anticipating “being a man” could get worked in there too.

The Sandinista’s once had this as a slogan to motivate young voters:
“When you do it for the first time…do it for love.”
With an image of two young folks, holding hands and walking to a polling station.

I don’t get who Julie is.
But registering to vote in RI is really easy. I think it took like 5 minutes for me.
Julie’s just a name, could be Sarah or Beth or any female name. Or male name, if we’re having the female be the one who just did It.
