A lot of people thought that the secret recipe for the “Orange Julius” drink contained egg. Some even thought it contained not only the contents, but the egg shell as well (See William Poundstone’s book Big Secrets). I suspect this is the reason you see them making an orange smoothie with raw egg in the movie.

Thar’s weird. In MY UL-canon, Orange Julius contained egg, but it was in a powdered form.
