Heaven Can Wait (1978) - Warren Beatty’s shake: whipped liver, whey, bean curd, alfalfa sprouts, spinach mold.

Now that has to be the strangest and most disgusting one ever!

This really is one of those realizations that the late 80’s/early 90’s were blender/smoothie obsessed and the joke was always the most disgusting ingredients being put together. There was a comedy movie I don’t remember the name of but the guy blended together pizza, Chinese food and cereal for a “Leftover Shake”.

Also the entire plot of the Simpsons episode “Flaming Moe’s” revolves around Homer inventing a new mixed drink in a blender which consists of the leftovers of several highly alcoholic bottles (vodka, tequila, schnapps) and cut with children’s cough syrup.

I was figuring it was something about it being obsessed with smoothies or something, I was 2 years old in 1990 so I never really got a chance to notice except for the movies. As sad as it is, I bet there are people that actually do what that simpsons episode did… Must be the best hangover ever.
