Share the top all-time posts from a (relatively) small subreddit you enjoy

Lots of Reddit in the news lately. It’s the Reddit end times!

Anyway, here’s the rules:

Rule a) Go to a subreddit you like. Filter the posts by “top” and then “all time.”
Rule 1) Feel free to skip a post or two if it’s something tangentially related to the subreddit’s topic, like celebrating a certain number of subscriptions or rallying its base for an important cause like net neutrality. Use your discretion.
Rule α) Nothing from one of the mega subreddits like r/aww or r/todayilearned. Again, use your discretion, but consider the spirit of the thread. Or don’t. I’m not your dad. Probably.

Here’s the top two posts from /r/dwarffortress - an ugly, amazing, ugly game that was free for a couple decades until its developers were like, “oh man, we could really use some health insurance.” They made it less ugly, put it on Steam, and now they’re both quite wealthy.

These are all pretty wholesome from r/Autism_Parenting

So my grandson was in need of a Safety bed. I didn’t like what I could find or the prices so I built him one. Thought I’d share.

HELL YES!

Every night I say

“Goodnight Son’s Name” and he says

“Goodnight Son’s Name”

BUT TONIGHT HE SAID

“GOODNIGHT DADDY”

AND I’M FEELING 10 FEET TALL!!!

18 years ago, my daughter’s father told me I had to choose her or him. I chose her. Not sure how to describe how equally challenging and joyful raising a human who doesn’t fit in conventional society on my own has been, other than to say I wouldn’t trade this human for for the world. She’s my world.

I’m surprised this thread hasn’t gained more traction. Maybe since the Dope skews older, there are fewer reddit posters here.

I’m betting the Redditors here are busy trying to figure out what’s going on over there, and their future plans/workarounds.

Me, I cut back on all my other internet sites a while ago, so I could hang out with the (smarter, nicer) people here.
