You missed the “both” option.

A doctor from the NSW Central Coast who allegedly issued hundreds of exemptions from COVID-19 vaccinations has been suspended by the Medical Council of NSW.

Dr Evans was interviewed by police earlier this month, and was referred to the state’s Health Care Complaints Commission, after telling police he had issued 400 vaccine exemptions, with another 300 to be written.

My brother’s girlfriend, a hospital Med/Surg nurse (RN) is a COVID hoax believer. Unfortunately they live in a state where this dies not prevent her from plying her trade unvaccinated.

They go over to my cousin’s place and she starts spouting off. My cousin is a doctor who last spring and summer was being trained in pulmonology (?) in case the situation got worse. He himself contracted COVID and was quite ill for a while, but seems to be fully recovered. Their adult daughter is immunocompromised so they do not see her because he’s working in a hospital so at risk of reinfection even while vaccinated.

When brother’s girlfriend started tearing into “doctors who are just in it for the money, and will just go along to protect their status” my cousin’s wife asked her to leave.

Now brother is spouting off about their freedom of speech being violated. When I pointed out that you don’t really have any right to be in someone else’s kitchen, he called me a Fauci Fellator. Which I have to admit is a clever epithet.

It sounds like it’s not just your brother’s girlfriend who is a covid denier. Sorry you have to deal with that.

He’s not a denier, he’s actually vaccinated. He’s just sticking up for her, for whatever reason. He’s more in the libertarian “you can’t make me care about other people” mold of asshole. He’s on record as saying that if old and sick people need to die, so be it. We can’t stop living. Our parents are old and our father is sick. He is quite clear he did not mean to exclude them.

And decrease the surplus population.

We’ll, a different variety then, but not someone on the side of science and sense as far as Covid.

I mean that epithet is not one that someone who supports sensible science-based Covid policy would use.

In Alaska Covidiot news, it seems that the numbers of anti-vaxxers are decreasing. Because they are dying of Covid:

And they had a meeting this past weekend to spread the disease to each other… We will have to see how many more anti-vaxxers kill themselves this way.

The In N Out chain, which is one of the most popular fast food chains in California, is owned by evangelicals who have announced that they will not enforce local mandates requiring restaurants with indoor dining to verify that their diners have been vaccinated. At least three of their sites have closed their indoor dining so as to continue to ignore the mandates but keep their drive throughs open.

A New York realtor recorded himself running down the streets harassing children trying to get to and from school, yelling at them to take off their masks because their parents are abusing them. He’s been fired from the realty agency he was working at

There’s something about retired docs and out-to-pasture academics that lends itself to outbreaks of crazy. I have dubbed this the Emeritus Syndrome.

Another syndrome victim, retired pediatric oncologist Sue McIntosh of Durham CT, recently surrendered her medical license after it was reported to the med board that she was issuing exemptions for mask-wearing and vaccination (not just Covid vaccines) without ever seeing the patients. You just had to send her a stamped, self-addressed envelope.

Her website, evolutionnotenslavementdotcom has an interesting adaptation of the Declaration of Independence. Excerpt:

“They have imposed fake solutions like the COVID
injections of poison elements, which is most dangerous altering the Human DNA with RNA
and thus eliminating the human body from its own natural immune function of battling
illness. This alone can cause the loss of life in the future up to 70% of all those persons who
have taken the fake vaccines promoted by all means of media under the control of the same
cabal illuminati oligopolists.”

OK.

Docs who don’t monetize phony exemptions are missing the boat. An Ontario physician was reportedly charging $50 per Covid vaccine exemption and had “large crowds” lining up around the block outside his clinic.

This guy touted himself as a “holistically oriented” family doc and a “registered herbalist”. :slightly_smiling_face:

Interesting that he sticks up for her nonsense but not for the cousin she’s insulted.

Swell guy. Knowing this, why does anyone in the family invite him over? Family togetherness? He tells a good joke? Does the dishes?

He’s presumably only sleeping with one of them.

Covidiocy gets a physician assistant in Washington state a suspended license. Scott Miller was the subject of complaints that he prescribed drugs including ivermectin for Covid-19, including to people who weren’t his patients or who he didn’t examine. He also allegedly was less than congenial to colleagues. From a Medscape article:

“In one case that was cited in the report, a 39-year-old patient contacted the pediatric clinic, and Miller spoke with the patient by phone. The patient reported that he had tested positive for COVID. Miller advised the patient to take supplements, including vitamin D and C, zinc, and melatonin, and he prescribed ivermectin, dexamethasone, and azithromycin. He did not perform an exam, verify the information that the patient had provided, advise the patient regarding interactions, or order follow-up testing, the report states.”

“Other charges against Miller include harassing hospital staff by making threatening statements about hospitals and doctors who treat COVID-19 patients and misrepresenting his original 2013 license application. He denied on the application that he was being investigated by another licensing board. At the time, the California Physician Assistant Board was investigating him for providing medical care and prescribing without a supervising doctor’s authorization and without conducting physical exams, among other charges.”

It’s people like this that make me happy about reports of how “tragic” it is about certain medical folks losing their jobs. Good riddance. Our health system is getting a necessary cleansing.

This guy tested positive on Tuesday and was dead by Saturday.

What he said!

I found out today that only 40% of hospital employees in my former town are vaccinated. There are anti-mandate protests. I’m trying to wrap my head around the majority of hospital workers refusing vaccination.

How much do COVID tests cost? I believe the hospital employs about 600 people. If 240 of them have COVID tests every week, how much is that going to cost taxpayers (or the hospital, if the feds won’t pay)? I’m guessing tens of thousands of dollars per week. And this same town is, of course, rabidly anti-tax.

Is the employer paying, or are the employees required to pay?
