Share your tree!

Looks like you have all your presents bought! That puts you way ahead of us procrastinators! thanks for sharing.

Yeah, don’t hate me, but I was done Thanksgiving weekend except waiting for some of the stuff that I ordered online.

Cutest. Christmas. Kitties. EVAR! Squeeeeeee!

The tree is not up yet, so instead, I will share my favorite Christmas pic. This is my house on Christmas night, a few years ago.

OMG, what’s all that white stuff? :stuck_out_tongue:

interface2x, your tree is pretty!

That’s beautiful! We never have white Christmases here, and since I have to work and drive all day, I’m glad, but it is gorgeous. Maybe I’ll vacation somewhere snowy some Xmas!

What a great photo Hal!! I love that outfit - especially the sparkly shoes !!

I like this pic. It really captures that Christmas light glow for me. Makes me nostalgic. I used to spend hours as a kid, looking at the lights.

Thanks, guys

I used the “night scene” setting on my digital camera to catch the glow of the lights.

This is from last year or 2 years ago–sorry that it’s blurry…

Somewhere I have pics of the stockings etc, but I must not have scanned them into iPhoto. <sigh>

I really like the Christmas kitties, and those window treatments upthread! Also, **interface’s **tree looks great. Everyone’s stuff looks good–I love decorating for the holidays.

That’s a great tree! Hubby and I agree that it is a shame that we never discovered light-up, color-changing balls back when we were doing recreational drugs.

No shit, eh?

[QUOTE=Renee]
We don’t have room for a tree here, so I did a Christmas tree painting. You can’t really tell in the photo, but the trunks are silver and there’s some silver paint mixed in generally. Looks better in person.

We also have christmas kittens, which aren’t technically decorations, but within the spirit of the tread, I think, and this, whatever you’d call it.

Merry Christmas, everyone!

I love the christmas tree painting, and the christmas kittens are to die for!!

Thank you! The tabby got adopted today, but we’re keeping the black and white one since he’s the coolest cat in the world.

I’m impressed. This is my first Christmas living by myself as well (well, with a roommate, but she’s gone for the holidays), and I didn’t put anything until my mom sent me some random doodabs.

Our cats would make short work of any Christmas tree, so here’s what we’ve got.

Note my skepticism.

And here’s my cat being grouchy and Scrooge-like. (Yes, gratuitous kitty pic.)

Note her skepticism as well.

Here’s my tree. And my favorite decoration.

The train is a nice touch.

Here’s the top of my tree; the rest of it is pretty much standard.

Bwahahaha!

Of course, now I HAVE to post this

HazelNut, any pic with you in it isn’t gratuitous…

We have just completed our Tree today. All the lights are vintage GE “Lighted Ice” bulbs circa 1975. Thanks to E-bay for replenishing our dwindling supply.

I have a little 12" fake desk tree with garland made out of colorful lab supplies. My friend insists on buying me decorative balls to hang on it every year, that are way too big for that size tree, and in fact each year get bigger, and are now bigger than the tree itself.

We only put up some of the ornaments. We decided on “air” as the theme, so lots of stars, birds, snowflakes.

2006 tree for comparison:
