We moved into our house on December 20, 2004, and we had a fairly silly and well-worn six foot tree. By the next year, we knew that just wasn’t going to work with the ten foot ceilings, so we bought a nine foot tree. Trees that tall seem hard to come by these days, so I’m glad we got it when we did.
Anyway, here’s a night-time shot of the tree, taken to test out our new camera in dark conditions. That’s the silhouette of the little Torqueling in front; she likes to go to that Santa by the fireplace and give him hugs and kisses. The rightmost stocking, you can maybe just make out, is for our pet pug.
