Thanks, Biggirl. Ten bucks says he’s a member of the Log Cabin Republicans and he’s got all of Luther’s records.
Cool cats? Didn’t Soupy Sales used to say that?

I only watch Soul Train to see the Soul Train line, anyway. Shemar can’t ruin that.
Sweet Jesus I love the Soul Train gauntlet. You can always count on one guy dancing with a cane and one girl doing a humping simulation, and that just makes my day. God bless it.
But, he won a Emmy.
And the guy who likes to wear masks. He was my favorite.
Yes, he did win an Emmy. Perhaps he should go back to soaps where overacting and keeping it fake are rewarded.
He’s so obviously not the g-man he pretends to be. Somebody should tell him to just be himself. There is room in the Soul Train world for cuties who are not so down.
My wife is a fan of Y&R. I like to call him “hand hanging out of the car guy”, because there was (what seemed like) a two month stretch (real-time, not soap-time) where the only thing we saw of him was his hand hanging out of the car window after he had been in an accident.
His finest work, IMHO.
Ohhhhh yes. The mask guy. The flips off the stage are the real capper for me.
I’m gonna have to start recording Soul Train. It’s been a while.
Wow. Masks and canes and flips? Last time I remember seeing Soul Train the Tymes sang “You Little Trustmaker” and the kids were doing all this Rerun stuff with the suspenders and the floppy hat and the jump up slap your knees thing. I guess that makes me old, huh?
I thoguht Joseph was a Martian?
Shemar would look a lot better if he’d just make a trip to the orthodontist and quit doing whatever he keeps doing to his eyebrows. They look as if they were drawn on with a magic marker.
That Old Navy commercial is the only ON commercial that I can stand to watch without getting physically ill. Them lil white boys on there sho know how to get down with the best of 'em, don’t they?
In all fairness, the Mask Guy tends to pace the stage and pose a lot.
I’ve been watching for so long that when the video for Superfreak was released way back when, I could and still can point the Soul Train dancers he used.
I can remember the Dark and Lovely commercials during the Jheri curl days.
Anyone want a shot at the Soul Train Scramble Board?
What about Afro Sheen and Ultra Sheen cosmetics?
