I have to confess that I like Sheriff Joe. All the attention is focused on him instead of our sheriff. And our coroner. The one who was driving to Phoenix and tossed a body in the back of his pickup to save delivery costs.
Well, did the passenger complain?
Of course not. And the surprised quotes in the newspaper were enough to tell eveyone world wide that we are hicks.
Why in the world would anyone think that it was wrong for someone to try to save tax dollars by combining going to dinner and delivering a body? It was in the winter, so the body would stay cold…
