I fast-forwarded through most of it. I like the characters for the most part, but man, the stories suck.
Putting Sherlock in an ordinary situation like a wedding was entertaining. I liked the part where he bonded with the little boy over crime scene photos.
The disaster was when we find out how much Sherlock is a plaything for Mycroft.
I remember at the time thinking of S3 was a kind of triptych - IIRC, the middle panal (E2) represented amusing/whimical Sherlock.
