So I’m reading about this Uber driver who called the cops about a young girl being trafficked for sex by two women in Elk Grove, California, a suburb of Sacramento, which is near where Sherri Papini was found. In looking at the article here I see the two women might possibly fit the description of Sherri Papini’s abductors. While one is Hispanic and the other black, it’s conceivable that Papini mistook the black woman as being Hispanic given that her head was covered most of the time that she was in the company of those women. Panini reported that one of the women had curly hair and the other had straight hair, which fits this pair too. I’m thinking the authorities should be looking pretty closely at these two women and that they try to find out whether the black one speaks Spanish.
I realize this hypothesis is a long shot but wouldn’t it be an excellent confluence of events if it turned out that this Uber driver’s heroics led to the resolution of the Sherri Papini case?
It isn’t that interesting. It is just a bunch of internet bullshit from people that have no idea what they are talking about. Almost every point in that article is pure speculation, condescending personal opinion or completely false.
The only point that holds any water is that it was odd to get a hostage negotiator and set up a reverse ransom from an anonymous benefactor in a case where someone is just plain missing with no announced suspects or even a proven kidnapping but the Reddit bloodhounds didn’t come up with that on their own.
None of that explains how or why someone would hurt themselves that badly and end up 150 miles away from home (everyone that examined her immediately after she was found claims the injuries and branding are real).
I have no idea what happened or why but that type of piss poor speculation is getting anyone any closer to the truth. She probably was kidnapped for whatever reason in my opinion but she may know way more about the circumstances behind it than she is letting on because of illegal or immoral activity that she doesn’t want to be outed for.
It has happened before. Three-time track and field Olympian Suzy Favor Hamilton got herself into a whole heap of personal and financial trouble by becoming a high-priced Las Vegas call-girl despite being a mother of a young child and supposedly happily married. She didn’t need the money and says she only did it for the thrill because she has bipolar disorder. I suppose it could be something like that if she had a deal go bad.
Off course, the latter is just my own piss-poor speculation and worth the pixels this post is written in until the real facts emerge.
As a Shasta County Resident (Redding Area ) I can say for certain that Sherri was not on a Bender with her two Mexican National Bisexual female lovers …
*"A 911 call log from 2003 recently released by California police reveal that the mother of Sherri Papini, the 34-year-old woman who went missing for three weeks in November after she claimed she was kidnapped while jogging, told police that her daughter was “harming herself and blaming it on [her.]”
A call log from the Shasta County Sheriff’s Office dated Dec. 17, 2003, indicates that Papini’s mother, Loretta Graeff, alleged that her then-21-year-old daughter had been harming herself and blaming it on her. The log, obtained by The Sacramento Bee and shared with ABC News, also states that Loretta Graeff wanted “advice” because her daughter was planning on moving back in with her.
The report, only two sentences long, does not detail whether police found evidence that Papini, in fact, harmed herself…
The Shasta County Sheriff’s Office told ABC News that while the investigation into Papini’s alleged abduction is still “open and ongoing,” the community should not be concerned by potential kidnappers on the loose." *
Is that really all the updates there are since December?
I mean, the cops can’t find the rather cartoonish kidnappers in all this time? Not that some criminals don’t get away, but from the descriptions there must be many significant leads to follow and LE these days is good at weaving small strands into a solid case. DNA, tire tracks, eyewitness, narrow locale, surveillance footage, license plate recording… really? They just vanished without a trace after holding a PWG for weeks?
Are the cops even working the case any more, or is it officially “a breakthrough is expected soon”?
I’ll bet the slurry of DNA evidence in/on this woman’s clothes would keep a CSI team on over-time for quite a while. And we still wouldn’t get to the bottom (so to speak) of this hoax.
Perhaps one of the two was a trans woman; that would allow Ms Papini’s story to be accurate as far as she could have known, and would account for the DNA evidence.
Hey, stranger things have happened. Not to me, but still.
IMO, the talk about DNA on her person and clothing is meaningless. IIRC, Papini said she was blindfolded much of the time. A male could have come in contact with her clothing while she was blindfolded and she wouldn’t have known the difference. Further, there is no way to determine, at least based on what the police have released so for, when the DNA they found came into contact with her. It would be interesting to know just what kind of DNA they found and where they found it.
And while we’re on the subject, I’m surprised that no one has yet ferreted out the guy that she’d been texting and trying to set up a meeting with. I know the police have said that he’s been exonerated, but even so you’d think that someone in the media would have discovered who he is by now and and sought an explanation as to his relationship with and/or the nature of his text message history with Sherri Papini.
She had kidnap/submission/BDSM fantasies; she pursued one; it went wrong; she didn’t want it to continue; her Dom/Master got carried away (to say the least); he was not capable of killing her (but capable of harming her as per the lifestlye/fantasy); he dumped her somewhere; she needs a story, so she was kidnapped by two masked women.
