Shipping Wars needs to do wind turbine parts

A friend was showing me the show Shipping Wars, and we watched people ship a bunch of decrepit vehicles and large pieces of artwork. In real life I have seen what a huge deal shipping parts for wind turbines is. I was on a winding back road through the woods( Somewhere in midcoast or downeast Maine, not sure exactly where) one day, and a state trooper came down the road, lights and sirens blaring. After everyone pulled over, an enormous flatbed truck came up behind them and there was what looked like a turbine blade on it. It appeared to be hanging off the end of the flatbed by at least ten feet, and had two state troopers following behind it. Seems like that would make a better TV show than “Here’s $400, take this cake 6 hours north, it’s pretty much a straight shot on I-95”

*Shipping Wars *seems to be more about weird drivers moving weird things for weird customers.

I don’t see much chance that GE or Siemens would put their turbine parts out to bid for some yahoo to try stuffing them into an old church bus or tie them onto a flat trailer behind a pickup truck. Added drama - “Huh? I need a permit and pilot car for an oversize load? Oopsie!”
