I’ve had enopugh problems setting up the damn TiVo without a phone line (starting with the fact that, apparently, no one in Georgia can give directions and it took me 3 hours to find the store to buy the TiVO - grrrrrrrr)

Now I need an adaptor because it would be too simple to plug the thing into the other thing, you have to plug it into another yet another thing first before the secret number trick (that TiVo won’t tell you about - you have to know about the secret trick from the unofficial TiVo website that seems to be staffed mainly by TiVo employees) will work.

OoooKaaay.

So, instead of spending mega$$$ to buy the adaptor in person, I figure I’ll get it more than half off over the internet. Right? Right. So I search for it (it has to be exactly the right one or the TiVo secret magic won’t work), and I find it. I order it, it will ship next day and I spend extra for speedy shipping, because I’m so sick of this shit. It’s still cheaper than paying retail.

Then I get the shipping confirmation email: They are on ‘holiday’ and will ship my order when they return.

Could they have maybe, perhaps, mentioned this while I was ORDERING???!!!
